Michele Hutchins
Michele Hutchins is an Arizona based artist whose work explores the tension between expression and technology. Blending conceptually-driven painting and graphic design, Hutchins constructs spaces between art object and lived experience. Contemporary Abstract Art has always been a driving factor in the majority of her works. She seeks to create unique original impactful images. Creating simplicity with form and structure in the images to filter out the noise, to allow the viewer to experience the essence of the moment as was felt during its creation. Her main medium of choice is oil or acrylics on canvas.

Having received her BFA in Visual Communications and minor in Fine Art from Northern Illinois University, Michele has continued to work as a commercial artist, with emphasis on the medical field for the past 25 years, having had her own graphics agency and mural artist business. Michele has commissioned works in Arizona, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio. She has gone on to pursue an MFA from the San Francisco Fine Art Academy, to continue her love of learning and to keep developing as a contemporary painter.
