Join Carefree galleries on the Third Thursday of every month beginning October 20th through May 18th, 2023 for our seasonal Art Walk. Carefree Third Thursday event series invites visitors to stroll, shop, dine and enjoy an evening celebrating the arts in downtown Carefree! These events help support local businesses and local creativity which make our Arizona culture a better place to live, work, and visit.
The Art Walks are FREE and self-guided, every month, 4:00-7:00 p.m., and offer FREE PARKING. Begin at any gallery, then continue on to other participating galleries. Enjoy a diverse display of artistic styles and mediums, meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and engage in conversation about art and architecture.
The Art Galleries of Carefree are growing in picturesque Downtown Carefree, Arizona. The current Art Walk features 13 unique and locally-owned galleries offering a diversity of fine art, jewelry and home décor. Each participating gallery will have snacks and refreshments, as well as, featured gallery artists. The Art Walk will take you through the beautiful Carefree Desert Gardens, as you make your way from gallery to gallery.
This can’t miss event is the Third Thursday of each month, starting October 20, 2022, through May 18, 2023, and runs from 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. “We are so excited to kick this event off”, says Michele Hutchins, of Gallery Michele, “Carefree's Third Thursdays are an opportunity to celebrate local creativity and culture. Each Art Walk event in downtown Carefree presents an opportunity to recognize a local artist whose creativity and artistic spirit make this community a better place to live, work and visit.
